Evangelism Training - Class #1 Video

In September 2007, Ken and I were allowed to begin leading Way of the Master Evangelism Training at our church. We have so far done 2 Basic Training and 1 Intermediate Class. Each of the classes are 8 weeks long and include "Fishing Trips" where we hit the streets and put to use what we've learned about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost.

We are both humbled by this opportunity and count it a privilege to be used in this capacity. Personally, leading the course has been such a blessing and the LORD has used it to draw me closer and bring me to greater obedience in carrying out the Great Commission (Mark 16:15).

Here is a video that we put together of the very first class sharing the Gospel. The video starts out with us at church preparing to witness to those who are waiting in the parking lot for food provided by our Hope Closet ministry. We share the Gospel while they wait in line, it doesn't get any better than that! The second portion of the video was shot on the St. Charles river front on a Saturday afternoon. Many people heard the Gospel that day... either by mouth or by Gospel tract; all for the glory of God!

The Great Commission

go ye into all the world
not only into Judea, and through all the cities of it, where they had been before confined; nor only into the Roman empire, which is sometimes so called, because great part of the world was under that government; but into every known and habitable part of the whole universe, to all the nations of the world under heaven: and it is to be observed, that this command is not enjoined on every apostle separately, as if each of them was to go into all the world, and travel over every part; but that one was to go one way, and another another way; every one had his line, or that part of the world marked out for him, whither he was to steer his course, and where he was to fulfil and finish his ministry: and besides, this commission not only included the Apostles, but reaches to all the ministers of the Gospel in succeeding ages, to the end of the world; and since this, one part of the world, which was not known, is now discovered; and the order includes that, as well as the then known parts of the world, and the Gospel accordingly has been sent into it. - John Gill
